Clinical Test of OPUS3 Podiatry Drill

Tested for 1 week in surgery.
Initial set up no problems.
Extremely easy to set speed memory.
Just switch on, set speed to required revs then press memory button until it lights up
Repeat as above for each button
Always check max rpm of bur before using ( larger the bur slower the speed)
Dust bag fitting a little tricky, pull connector to the machine quite firmly to undo.

Replace dust bag, then carefully reconnect, remember the electrical connections for power to the drill are at the base of the dust bag holder.

Try not to use full power on dust extractor continuously, the instructions recommend setting at 6 which seems powerful enough and keeps the noise down.

Handpiece was comfortable to use.

Unit size a little larger than most 320mm wide 125mm high and 220mm deep so check that there is enough room on or in your unit

As with all dust extractor drills avoid using sprays etc while drilling as this will clog up the handpiece and tube.
